How often have we received packages with such lovely gift wrap that we feel awful throwing it away? At some point I decided not to, and started saving it and using is for collages. Over the years friends and family have donated their own saved gift wrap (and the inner colored tissue paper as well) and the work here is the result. I started with a rather flat approach, but in some of the work I started using a “papier maché” feeling, which created greater texture and interest.
